Manips

All of what I post here has been digitally manipulated (hence “Manips”) to some degree or other.

Originally, inks and pastels on A1 and cleaned up in PS. Will separate the blue backgrounds from behind the yellow stripes (which I call “yellow gashes” in the saved file), and animate in a simple way.

I have quite a few of the ink drawings like the one above. The idea was to put the different drawings through the generator using the same parameters, download the gif files and then stitch them together into one piece. The above piece is my first attempt – as you can see, the movement doesn’t ….. well, it doesn’t move. And for some reason the images have become elongated. To be able to place 4 different gifs into one piece, I had to jump through a few application hoops – so this is not the finished deal.
3 pieces on A3 paper – ink and acrylic. I scanned them, and took out the white background, then stitched them together .

Felt tip pen – 7 different sketches on A4 – scanned, background white replaced with web white and stitched together.

Felt tip pen and pencil – doodles on A5 photo paper, scanned, white replaced with web white and stitched together.

“Godot” – as in “waiting for”. Inks on paper originally but cleaned up in PS and montaged.
